Who's Fault

You point at me...I point at you,
for what am I suppose to do?
You surely can't believe it's me...
for what I in life turned out to be.
It's not my fault...I'm not to blame,
don't make me carry someone else's shame.
The good choices were of course by me,
though I'm blinded by what you might see.
To things that didn't turn out well...
who's fault it is...I can not tell.
I wish that I could have done so much more,
when opportunity knocked at my door,
but I wasn't home...and you're to blame...
you've turned my sunshine into rain.
It's not my fault where I stand,
I'd done much better...If you'd have lent a hand.
