Whole Again

My cropped blond hair blowing
In the New Jersey breeze
My thoughts and feelings,
So easy to see
Raindrops falling all around me
But I stay where I sit
Thinking of what was and what is
As my day slowly unfolded
I learned more about others and
myself
My what seemed constant pain
Finally abating and leaving me
With a new found feeling of clarity
I can only hope it is gone for good
But I learned more about myself
and my Lover than I thought I
would
So I am Thankful to the powers
that be
For sending this rain
And reminding me that I'm whole
again
