Whole

Whole

The essence of how your sweet soul awakens in me
That which I thought was lost forever
You see something within me, that I can not
I will never understand the depth of your vision
Or how you could love a tarnished vessel as I
A broken, bruised and sad creature
That has been ripped by the trials of life
Though every time you give yourself to me
A part of me comes back to life
And as I look through the looking glass once more
A newness starts to appear
That I can become what I once was
And be whole once again

We all can be whole. God can take us there. Good poem. Though humans may try and help but the job is God's alone, Tammy. Love ya, Toquyen
