Who Wins

You cannot fight God
Can you fight God?
I used to think so
I fought with Him all the time
on everything
and everything
Until I learned to yield
Did I learn to yield?
I'd like to think I did
But I will never learn it
As God does not make us like robots
And take orders and say please
At least it's not me
I don't believe God wants us to obey Him without questioning
Does He?
I don't know
But I know as long as there are sun and storms
There will be days where I question Him on everything
Does that mean I am bad?
Who knows and who cares?
But I know that when I do listen
That is when I want to
And not have to
I don't want to have to anything
Life is full of have to's already
Have to go to work
Do you?
Have to eat
Do you?
Haha
Have to take a shower
You'd better
Have to hang up my clothes
Who said that? Lol
The point is you don't have to anything
if you really think of it
So why would God put a restriction otherwise?
Ahh for your own good
Ohhh because He is a good Father
because He cares for you and me
because He knows you will come away fighting
And He put up with it
Until He can make a way
for you to listen to Him
and to fight Him
Did I say He can do anything He wants to?
Did I say He always wins?
Then why?
Why God?
Why do You let me fight You?
Oh why?
