Who Will Win the Debate

Who Will Win the Debate

By Elton Camp

Public housing is where you’ll live
All type of criticism folks will give

The public will either hate or extol
For many things beyond your control

Every move the press will scrutinize
Let’s hope privacy you don’t prize

You’ll do what the S.S. will allow
To its rules you will have to bow

Your wife a lot of carping will see
Even though she really works free

Even when your term is complete
Still a crazed assassin you may meet

Your life won’t belong to you anymore
No freedom of movement you had before

No matter which of you voters choose
In reality, both of you are going to lose

Perhaps the one who happens to win
Will come to regret it again and again
