Who Will Seek

Tigers attacking Their purrs do I hear Yet their mouths and teeth I rarely do fear Their claws penetrate Their paws slash my heart Their nails dig in As their slashes make art They dig for my soul As my body lays dying Yet the spirit within They are not finding For it lies in the heart They just cut through Now it's in strips Cut not by their lips On the ground Speaking true Love is gone Soul abound The pieces found I count I can't find them all Something's not right The blood in one's mouth Unfound by nature uncouth As one takes His piece of the fight Out of the field Hanging from the mouth Punctured by a tooth
