we think because we can hold a dying baby in the palm of one hand we are strong. we think because we can look deep into the eye of animals led to slaughter we are mighty. we think because we can wipe away the tear of a motherless child we have power. but in all of this we are as we have always been nothing. we look for joy and find it we look for pain and find it we learn we can find anything if we open our eyes love looks for you now and it will find you because like trees in a forest or flowers in a field we all stand together, alone. waiting to be found.
