Who Was There

Who was there?

Who was there when you were crying so hard,
That it hurt to breathe?

Who was there?

Who was there when you were struggling to live,
And struggling to keep your head up?

Who was there?

Who was there when you were fighting the thoughts,
And trying your hardest to keep on fighting?

Who was there?

Who was there when you were almost positive
You were taking your last breathe,
And drowning in your own pain?

Who was there?

Now that you think about it,
Who was ACTUALLY there?
