Who Was It
Who Was It?
Who left mud on the kitchen floor?
Who left prints on the freezer door?
And who took my chocolates I bought earlier?
Was it Frank or was it Billy?
No perish the thought, that's just silly.
Could it be Bessy, she's always been messy
prowling round for what she can find.
If she's taken my choc's, what's she done with the box?
What does she think? 'THAT I'M BLIND!'
All the evidence shows with the stains on her clothes
sort of tells me she is the one.
She ate the full pound, there's the box on the ground
to catch her I'll have to be quick.
Bessy my dear as I call drawing near
only to find Bessy's been sick.
