Who Told You To Be Strong

Who told you to be strong
When you are not okay
It is okay to cry
let those bad feelings go away
Who told you to hold your head up
When you are feeling down
It is okay to cry
You do not have to hold inside
Who told you to be strong
Smiling, but your smile is not real
Who told you to be strong
It is okay to feel what you feel
You are not wrong
For not being strong
We have to deal with pain
Before we move on
And when someone says
Stay strong
Just know that it is okay
Not to be strong today.
