The path that ushered a person into my life,
was also the path that took her away.
Some friends move on long before it’s time,
Others I’ve felt, their welcome will overstay.
Once, my life was greatly impacted,
by a stranger and most unlikely person.
God placed her in my path for a reason,
and when she left, I felt things worsen.
25 years later through an internet search she found us.
I thank God that she saw something in us worth returning for.
She is now the Daughter we never had!
