Who Not To Be Mine

Who not to be mine
in a shapeless world
where no light shall shine
no boy nor girl
to talk the night away
there be no love
no brightness to the day
or an angel above

who not to be mine
an emotion so gone
or a soul so kind
but to be all alone
no rose petals upon a floor
or a candle so lit
a heart who loves no more
a chair with no one to sit

who not to be mine
I share not my contemplataion
for no feeling is divine
nor worthy of recitaion
a face untouched by a hand
or a desire never known
so as a person I stand
searching for a love of my own
