Who Makes You Excellent

Who Makes You Excellent Those friends you have who are the silent seeds that have you bloom into the flower of a poet that you are, indeed! They glitter mightily in your soul's meditative universe, raising your inspirations to the most distant of stars. A poet friend is not a sometimes thing, as they are genuine supports who enable you to create far more than mediocre meanderings. That sapphire, true, thoughtful poetry which you compose, when the moon shines so dreamily yet with brightness on your paper. Their love covers your mind with the most exquisite poetic love wallpaper and inspiration. You know who they are, your earthly muses, filling you with joy and gratification. With deepest gratitude to my earth angels, Panagiota             November 19, 2019

My first earthly muse was a school teacher, that suggested after reading one of my tales, maybe I should think about writing poetry. Then bought me two poetry books as gifts and asked me to compose at least two poems as gifts to her. I did and I was just twelve years old. Stopped for almost two years-then resumed at age 15, right after my father died. Been writing ever since. Love your poem-- a fav..

Thank you my friend. I was 15 years and two months old when may father died of cancer. I sought healing in my writing-- as I still do, as this dark world never ever stops its relentless and evil attacks.

I just love your short biography on how you were launched into poetry. What a great muse you had that has you writing for so many years. This is truly a phenomenal share. Golly, how young you were when your Dad passed. You are galaxies ahead of and a shining star always. Thank you for reading my poem. Panagiota x
