Who Is To Say

Who’s to Say (or what I learned on the web today)

The Mayans say the world will end December 21st
NASA says it really won’t; this thought they hope to burst
They have the tools, they understand, just how the end might come
But they keep their knowledge under wraps so not to panic some
They studied the inscriptions the Mayans carved in stone
And marveled at the knowledge the Mayans must have known
Their carvings of the heavens were pretty much spot on
But seem to stop the 21st, from then on all is gone
Now NASA is proactive, they plan well in advance
What if the Mayans had it right – could they take the chance

No – NASA has been working in case there is a blip
And NASA knows just who they’ll take aboard their mother ship

Thanks Ilene - as a former government employee, I know there is always another story behind the one the government tells us.
