Who Is There?
Who is there to help us
When the time in need is now?
Who is there to wipe our tears away
When they fall like bullets on our shirts?
Who is there to hold us when we need it the most?
Who is there to find us when we are lost?
Will it be a brave brother or sister?
An alcoholic father who will beat us?
Or a worried mother staying up all night until we are safe?
Who is there to lend us a hand when we're lifting heavy material?
Who is there to help us with our homework?
Or to help us get ready for our first day of highschool?
Who is there to teach us how to use the newest techonolgy?
Or get over a really bad breakup?
Will it be your best friend,
A neighbor,
A grandparent full of experience and wisdom?
Or even a caring teacher?
Who will be there to help us
