Who Is She
Who is she?
She that has beguiled you,
In whose arms you now rest
The one that owns your heart
And who sees you at your best
Who is she?
She whose call you can’t resist
The one presence you feel
She who beckons you to go
To have her needs fulfilled
She does not deserve you
Because she would never understand
Your pain, your joy, your thoughts
And your longings for this land
She only knows about her needs
So what has become of yours?
Sacrificed, buried, forgotten
Without a care, without remorse
