Who is God on Earth?
A wave tamed the air,
A deadly stare swallowed the thunder.
I am god on earth,
But I wish we Gods could converse.
If I have dominion here,
I should speak to the dead
And alas, they rise.
Or is it just moonlight tales
That man is supreme
Where animals alike dwell?
Why then do men fear lions
Filthy things we could stomp underfoot?
Shameful, we dare not tread into the jungle,
Lest our bones remain.
If men are gods on earth,
Who then serves us?
Tempers slip from my grasp,
As I witness gods frightened at the sight of the wild.
Those meant to obey us
Reign supreme, yet feign humility.
Mocking us with a little roar
And we break into sweat,
Even lose our bladder.
Who exactly is god on earth?
