Who I Am
I am thoughtful,
but can be oversensitive.
I enjoy people and all animals,
and love my family.
Sometimes my feelings are raw and easily hurt,
I'm a survivor of domestic violence.
I try to focus on the good,
and the positive things life has to offer me.
To persevere,
I need to stay calm and focused.
And push through the weight of anxiety.
Not let my emotions -
take control of my spirit, life and well-being.
Exercise helps to keep me calmer and balanced,
and enjoying humor daily.
I am a work in progress and strive to succeed.
