Who I Am

I don't need your approval
Because I am who I am
I dance my own dance
I rock out to my own jam

I wear my own style
I talk my own talk
I do my own thing
I walk my own walk

People may give me
Some weird look
But I don't even care
'Cuz I'm the writer of this book

I don't need your approval
Because I am who I am
I dance my own dance
I rock out to my own jam

I don't follow the crowd
I do what I want
I am my own person
I'm pretty nonchalant

People can say what they want
But I don't even care
I love who I am
I think I have flare

I don't need your approval
Because I am who I am
I dance my own dance
I rock out to my own jam

I am who I am
I love to be me
I don't want your approval
Don't you see?

I don't want your approval
Because I am who I am
I dance my own dance
And I rock OUT to my very own jam
