Who I Am

i'm the girl you see sitting down on the floor of the bookstore trying to get a preview of as many pages as i can, grasping at any inspiration i can reach. thinking of a future where all i can see is poetry and not some part time job that requires me to pretend to be happy every time i step through their door. this life isn't always happy and you have to acknowledge the darkness to see how bright the light really is. thinking of a future where my words inspire and encourage others to reach their hands out and pull their dreams right to life.
