Who Breathes Free

Told what to think
  what not to drink
what we must eat
  mostly vegan, never meat

We resort to apps to buy our cars
  to find our way to open bars
We rely on them to find a date
  Surefire way to seal one's fate

Parents once guided our consumption
  Social media do it now with gumption
Is there anywhere we still breathe free
  ubiquitous screens ~ wily eyes on you and me
