Who Are You?

I am a writer
A poet
An I can't,
I don't know it
Nose in a book
Sit with a hook or needles
To purl
Type of girl

I am a friend
A wife
An on the edge of a knife
Living the life of strife
And loving the people
God gave me

I am confused
And scared
But every time I fall
I end up on my knees
Praying
Until my Lord lifts me up again

Well done, interesting format!! I haven't been familiar with the slam form...however, I think you have done an awesome job with this one! ~ Carrie
