Who Am I?

Betrayed by my own body

My sex inside

not who you see outside

Not gay, not straight

just different, many say weird

Belonging nowhere

Insiable hunger

Desperate need

Unquenchable desire

Unspeakable pain

Aching for every day privileges

enjoyed by most people

My soul crying

for what feels lost

Lifelong grieving

for what I don't have

My label is transgender.
