Who Am I

I’m not stupid I’m absorbent Waiting for the right time to speak Pondering idea that took centers to perfect I’m mot smart I work hard Putting more effort than everyone else Practicing English, science, history, math I’m not mean I’m honest I dare to tell the truth that people fear They hate me because I’m not who they want me to be I’m not nice I’m practical I don’t always say what on my mind Trying my best to act like I’m kind I’m not happy I’m blinded by my ignorance Unaware of the suffering of the world Smiling as the world smiles with me I’m not sad I’m sympathetic Wounded by the sorrow I've seen Frowning as the world frowns with me Seven billion people in the world And they don’t all see me Seven billion people in the world And they each only see one of me Seven billion me’s in the world But I only know one Seven billion me’s in the world Zero real ones
