Who Am I
who am i
to write anything
or to even think
i might have something worthwhile to say?
i’m nothing more, after all
than one insignificantly small
molecule of water in the ocean
of eternity, wondering if
any of my thoughts intangible
or written will make even
one iota of a difference
when I’m gone. i must be
miserably mistaken thinking that
there’s more to life than what i think
about what here and now lies
beautifully beyond
the reach of my meager mind
striving to find
some meaning in the minimal
confines of earth-bound time.
LOVE IS
the ultimate answer to the dilemma
of reaching for who i am. deep
in the heart of life and death
is the ONE inside WHO
helps us under-
stand.
