Whiz Bang Chat This Morning

They had a whiz-bang chatter this morning.
A grandma grandson yackety-yak
Chatty Chat Chat Smile Laugh Laugh
On Facetime, an I-phone application

It was waggery talk
Mischievous but harmless
Nothing offensive was said
It brought a calm to both parties

The FaceTime concept less intimidating than I thought
At first it had bewildered and perplexed us
Grandma did not want to try it until this morning
Now she says “Who shall we call next?”

Not a Facetime aficionado, Karen. Nor a user of any of the other social media. See no point in broadcasting every silly little bit of trivia about who I am. The closest I come to it is my comments on other poets who response to my poems, and even there I use as much discretionary information as I think necessary and wise. Thanks for the stop. Keep safe, follow rules. / M

I am in the house for two weeks now. So glad it is a balmy 74 degrees this week. Kansas has never looked so pretty and I can be outside as much as I want; I live on 6 acres; no one comes here.
