White Wings Outstretched

He kneels, this angel we call Gabriel
His white wings stretched as if in gentle mourn

Reddened skies capture his saddened looks
Rages of red in simmering appease surround

For with him lies a lacerated dark angel
Her naked body arched in death mould

Once a night dancer of the dark
Now an empty soul resting against the white

Her once blackened feathers of he
Dilute, as she is returned to the right

A beautiful story of the angel whose light has been restored, James. Great work! I hope you will write for my contest and I have started posting again as well -- just one, but tomorrow I leave to do the volunteer work. I'll have my laptop with me, so please stay in touch. Love, Carolyn
