White Pumpkins

I got invited to Carol's pumpkin patch
There was only one little catch

All the white pumpkins were free
Not one orange one --did I see

Why oh why were they all white
It really created quite a sight

Carol no wonder they were for free
Who would want a white pumpkin--not me

But I will take it and make a pie
It will taste so good--your taste buds will die

I am in confusion as to how the pie will turn out
Never made a white pumpkin pie so am in doubt.

So together we will try something new
Pumpkin pie for just us two.

Good one..Great idea for the contest..Don't know if it has been judged yet...Good luck..I was thinking that maybe those pumpkins were just covered with snow..I don't see how you hold out to shovel the snow..That has to get to be a hard job doesn't it..Do you have a small tractor that can do it mechanically?..Sara

No I shovel a little at a time. You can get snow blowers but they are heavy to push so I do it by hand. Then the city sends big graters and they cover all the work you have done by pushing the snow on the sidewalks. Then it is so hard that a snow blower would not help-need an ice pick then.

Do you know the Charlie Brown pumpkin story where Linus is waiting for the "Great Pumpkin" in the patch? Where did you get the idea of a "white pumpkin"? Save some ot the pumpkin pie for me - I really like it. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Dunno why color would affect taste but let's see.

wonder if the inside would be light. Oh well we have yellow bing cherries and they do not taste different from the red cherries. Might make a mighty fine pie.

This pie would pale when compared to all others. Tony
