White Noise

Sometimes I sit there
Silent
Its like a bomb exploded in my brain
So much chaos makes me feel insane
Yet I sit and I smile
And I put on a show
For what it’s worth-
Nobody knows
My presence may be silent but my brain goes wild
It’s like full volume in a war zone
Anxiety smashing your face in-
And a slow needle in your mouth
Yet somehow among the noise,
I find peace-
And I figured I have to get here
Each time
Each day
To truly understand myself
And listen past all of the silence
Listen to the white noise

Does sound a bit chaotic but there is a calming feeling as I get to the end somewhat. Nicely expressed Sarah. Deep and thought creating.
