White Lies

Lies lies lies
you can't see it
in my eyes because
I am the master of
disguise.

They say playing
these masquerades hurt people.
You think I like keeping these
things from you?

I love people.
but to me disappointing them
is worse than the hurt
if they knew the truth.

Sometimes I need white lies
because I know the pain that
would ensue if the truth
were to be bestowed upon
some people.

repent repent they don't help you or any body. how many people know that you are a liar and won't tell you they know but there are rumors going around about you that everyone hears except you. that say your a liar. what happens when you need them to believe you, when only you can keep a friend out of jail. and you cant help at all because nobody believes you. just stop and people will tell you changed and they will start believing in you. john
