White Christmas
God waved his magic wand over the kingdom,
The city was covered with a blanket of white.
The trees of spruce and pine were touched with snow,
They looked beautiful and wintry.
Houses had snow on their roofs,
Santa and the reindeer could appear.
Bringing presents for the parents and children,
Wrapped beautifully and putting them under the tree.
The living-room had a very tall Christmas tree,
Decorated beautifully with bells, balls and stars and lights that twinkle.
Carolers would sing the songs of Christmas,
Choirs at church would resound with the songs of Christmas.
Relatives and friends would write or guest for Christmas.
Bringing delicious foods and beverages or sending Christmas letters and parcels.
While walking through the snow, you could see the beauty of the snowflakes,
Falling softly to the ground, creating a blanket of snow.
