White, Black and Brown Animals

Hey, dear animals, we all live in one world and we all need a place to survive.
Tiger, Crow, Leopard, Cheetah, Polar Bear, Brown Dove and more--
Why can’t we be good to one another,
when we all need to survive?

Each of us can survive in this world
even not being wild and attack others,
We all have our differences,
So, Dogs…don’t be wild too.

Living the way we do,,
We all want to be one in good deeds.
Even though we’re different,
we still remember each other sometimes,
and look after those we love.

This is the kind of environment most of us
look for comfort and peace.
At times we’re fortunate enough to have it, but most days we don’t.

We shift, we adjust to each other’s needs,
Just doing what’s possible.
Well, in the end.
We’re all pushing forward somehow.

Dear wild animals, don’t be too harsh.
It doesn’t matter what colors you wear,
As long as you survive freely,
Avoid being hunted,
And do not feast on your own kind.

Dear Wild Animals, today is the start of the year…
please stop attacking or harming others.
After all… they owe you nothing.
Survive freely,
and let others be at ease.

Do not try to ruin another’s Peace.
The Untamed one you're attacking
might strike back even harder.
Stay where you are,
live with your packs,
and survive without harming others.

Let this year teach us restraint,
Let simply living be enough,
May we follow our own paths
without leaving harm behind…

Rowena, I appreciate your kind and compassionate plea for peaceful coexistence. Your repetition of the word “survive” is almost meditative and invites closer reflection on each stanza. It reminds me of the symbolic Bible verse where all animals, wild and domesticated, will live in peace.

Thank you so much for reading it with such care. Your connection to the biblical vision of all creatures living in peace means a lot to me; it’s exactly the spirit I was holding while writing. I’m grateful you felt that stillness and reflection within the lines.
