Whispher

Can you hear her?
She sits alone
No glances across the room
No contact or gazes into other eyes
Head down
Nervous frown on her face
Needing a script
Telling her what to say
How to act
Tongue is silent
Watching conversations
That she cannot join
Wishing for the words
That she isn't afraid to voice
Wanting a part in the play
Needing a part to play
She is tired of her role
