Whispers of Love
Whispers of love that use to be
Hush-hush so others will not see.
Our love was a secret we grew to care.
With family and friends we could not share.
Warm spring night love was in bloom
We talked we laughed day came to soon.
We lived for the night when our hearts would meet
Such a powerful love one single heart beats.
In each other’s arms not wanting to let go
The passion we share deep within our souls.
We knew this love it could not last
We belonged to others this time would pass.
If only we could embrace the love we had
Our Memories wouldn’t be so sad.
So now I must leave my heart filled with sorrow
Remember the past, miss me tomorrow.
I close my eyes can’t help but see
Whispers of love that use to be.
