Whispers of An Angry Wind

With blaring voice, You've stolen her life away. I think, My heart shall ne'er mend. Caused you the trees to snap, And sway. Now the softness of your voice, Scarcely causes the grass to bend.

Very awesome poem. Your words really create an image of how the voice can affect one's soul. Really good...really cool.

Hi Tom! Congratulations on your poetry being featured this week! This depicts a scene of anger and consequence. Here, in French, we say 'un lacher prise'...not always an easy state of mind to achieve. It's a release...a letting go. Sometimes difficult, yet it's better than always putting on new bandages.:) Wishing you the best, Tom....God bless you and yours! Mikki
