Whispers In the Winds
whispers in the winds
Gentle as it may be, ears are enticed upon the stirring of the wind
Drops of water spill off aging leaves, falling into the winds stream
Faint sparkles of sunlight sneak through the broken clouds
Silence is broken by the whispers of the winds in my dream.
Awoken by the echoes drawn upon my mind near dawn
Darkness nearing to close to bed its goodnight
Subtle traces of daylight easing out against the fading stars
Willows in the mist seemingly awaken to the touching light.
Tones of color unraveling giving image to shapes and style
Unclear visions deter the awareness that reality sends
Sounds carried by the winds elicit responsiveness to reply
but I only whisper to retain my dream in the winds
