Whispers

Shhhh... There's a whisper spoken in the breeze awakening those who listen, begging you please... Can you hear it? Love is the holy place the potion to your woes, the magic in the healing , where sanctity glows. Can you feel it? Hope is the lotus emerging from the mud, there's beauty in the suffering and alchemy in the blood. Can you see it? Faith is the invisible force powerful and uplifting. Fireflies in daylight above the creek are drifting. Can you believe it? Shhhh... there's a whisper.

Oh dear Michelle, so good to see you here and that too with such a beautiful first poem on PoetrySoup. You've conveyed so much depth, wisdom and thought-provoking emotions here that one should really grasp and absorb their essence in the heart. "Hope is the lotus emerging from the mud" I love that stanza absolutely.. "Faith is the invisible force powerful and uplifting" It truly is.. Finally, you’ve listened! Good to have you here my warrior poetess, i can now comment and appreciate your work here..: as i always love and admire your wisdom and strength and the messages you convey from your warrior heart, lyrical and poetic, they always lift me up, i am trying to listen to the breeze, in silence as i read this poem once again, which you’ve written for island, and faith and hope would take us places.
