Whispers

WHISPERS

Whispered words slip out so silently
Each with its own personal agenda
Whilst other tongues reacts violently

Any voice may start out as tender
Yet cannot be effectively contained
Rising volume accepts no surrender

When peace is seen to have reigned
And the secret message is conveyed
No further understanding is gained

When such subtle games are played
Some words better had they stayed
