Whispers

Listen to that little voice 
that whispers through you
That prickle on your skin 
when something isn’t right
Listen to your heart that 
nearly skips a beat in retreat
That flutter in your stomach  
that whispers the path is right!

Listen to the whispers 
carefully in your life
That one little voice 
that brings you strife
That nasty little voice
Whispering inside your mind
The one that says your useless
The one that’s never kind!

Listen to the whispers 
That mother nature sends
If you hear carefully
They are indeed your friends
The ones of who you have no idea
How you ever came to meet
Listen to all of those things
Life delivers at your feet!
