Whisperings

Why do you both fall silent when I enter the room?
Hannah is my oldest and very best friend!
I know you ‘ve been seeing her behind my back
So please stop treating me like a fool
People keep giving me little smiles
Even my parents are acting strangely
Right now I want to pack my bags and leave
I can’t stand your deception any longer
Neil, I need you to tell me the truth NOW ...
Good grief! How did you keep THAT a secret
So ... we’re getting married in the morning!
