Whispering Summer Breeze
WHISPERING SUMMER BREEZE
My window opens on the meadow
See leaves rustle in breeze on a tree dry
From its branch a thirsty lonely swallow
Looks up for the rains to the sky.
Summer breeze whispers in my ear
It’s time to hold you in my arm
In the flutter of butterfly wings I hear
It’s time to sink in your charm.
My window opens on the meadow
See the sun color the summer dawn
Breeze swings the dewed grass aglow
Wish the show should go on and on.
Summer breeze whispers in my ear
It’s time to hold you in my arm
In the flutter of butterfly wings I hear
It’s time to sink in your charm.
My window opens on the meadow
See summer breeze glide on bed of rose
Carries the scent to me, it’s yours I know
In twilight gleam you’ll come to me close.
Summer breeze whispers in my ear
It’s time to hold you in my arm
In the flutter of butterfly wings I hear
It’s time to sink in your charm.
On this summer day at sunset hour
You come when soft breeze blows
I see you near, I see you clear
You are here by my window.
Summer breeze whispers in my ear
It’s time to hold you in my arm
In the flutter of butterfly wings I hear
It’s time to sink in your charm.
