Notes About The Poem

WHISPERED WISHES

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wrote this poem from a childhood memory of watching koi in the koi pond in my grandmother's backyard....
Moon spills silver ink~ koi carve slow spells through the dark, their fins drip with stars. The pond hums a silent hymn, each ripple a whispered wish.
