Whispered Lies

You walk away,
colors fade to grey.
How could you do this to me?
You promised to never set me free.
I gave you my heart,
but you broke it apart.
You gave me whispered lies.

Nicely written. Short and sad. Makes me want to comfort the voice speaking the words.
