Help me Lord when life gets hard
Don't let me lose my way
Protect my heart from getting scarred
When the trials begin to weigh
Give me peace when times get rough
Let Your light console
And before I think I've had enough
Please whisper to my soul
Remind me of the price You paid
If I try to walk away
And if my love should start to fade
Give me strength to pray
If melancholy thoughts should fill my mind
Let me know You care
When comfort's voice is hard to find
Let me know You're there
Hear me Lord, for I am weak
I fear my heart is broken
Guide me to the strength I seek
Through every word You've spoken
