Whisper To Me
Oh whisper to me soothing wind.
Your tender thoughts shaped with whispered words.
Your delicate diction on breathing breeze.
I stroll Lake Evocation’s shoreline
where we all must traverse alone.
Oh whisper to me soothing wind.
I hear the lash of waves upon sandy beaches.
It is here I find your whooshing undertones,
your wafting whisks of blustering breeze.
What then is your call to me?
How should I comply?
Oh whisper to me soothing wind.
Your gentle caress suggests a mystical presence,
an immutable eternal essence.
My eye of providence, my inward light.
Your mystery beyond my knowing.
But if I am listening, I will always learn
from the whisper of soothing wind.
