Whisper Sweet Nothings'
In the cold and dark night
A knock on the wood door
Ended the quiet silence
Baffling the cottage resident
A smudged white paper
Laid on the old red rug
Telling the dreaded words
Nobody want to hear in life
Lillie opened the wrinkled paper
Reading the words were written
With tears running down the cheeks
Wishing it was a bad dream
Time passed healing the scars
Preparing the heart to love again
When the right gentleman appears
Leaving disenchantment in the past
In a rainy afternoon, love bloomed
Appearing a stranger in the yard
Asking Lillie for a business address
Surging suddenly love at first sight
For Whisper Sweet Nothings'
