Whisper In My Ear

Your voice I hear whispering in my ear
Such a sweet and comforting sound to me

Your gentle touch to my heart when it aches
Brings release of all my troubles

When I look to the skies wishing to see Your face
I see the glories of the heavens above

As I walk on the earth my daily life’s stride
Let not its beauty be overrun by life’s trials

Let me hear the birds sing, see flowers bloom,
Mountains stand so majestic while waters rush

For it all reflects the mightiness of Your hand
And the planning of Your ways

Let me always hear You whisper in my ear
As You guide and direct my path
