Whisper

'My mum will not speak above a low whisper in public because she doesn't want to draw attention to herself.' Richard C. Armitage "Whisper, we're in church," my momma tells me. "Please momma, let me be." I only wanted to tell Aunt Sarah what I read, About how Lazarus was risen from the dead. "Whisper, you're in class," my teacher tells me. "Please teacher, let me be." I just wanted to talk to my friend, About the history homework that we need to comprehend. "Whisper, you're in the library," the librarian tells me. "Please librarian, let me be." I just wanted to share some gossip, so juicy, With my girlfriend Lucy. "Whisper, you're in an art museum," dad tells me. "Please dad, let me be." I only wanted to show you what I found, A painting of a woman with a garment wrapped around. When can I shout and yell? When you're outside for a spell. When you play at the city park. Or, when you're at the beach and spot a shark!
