Whisper

Within my hands your shoulders tense, like suns a-glow,
While from your eyes the stars of night shine out, just so.
The morning air is sweet to breathe and smell and feel,
But last night's whisper----yours----roars through me much more real.

I pull you closer in, take night and day in one,
Sunrise, sunset, bare moon and burning noon of sun.

"I love you", sent so very lightly from your tongue,
"I love you", blasted out the walls around me hung,
And now I'm free! though arms and hands go circling 'round,
And I'm a tyrant! over all the gold I've found!
