Whiskers Whispers

You think you see but you do not see, you think you hear but you are not sure, a gentle movement in the thick bush, two glowing fire lights cross in front, strange smell of putrid flesh slowly spreads, are you all alone? is someone near? should you scream, scream???but you widen eye, in hope to see what you do not see, there is a muffled sound of cat call, totally blinded by pitch darkness, miles of unknown land yet to travel, legs ache, heart races in abject fear, then you see the velvet paw in front, elegance of nature in black paint, two sharp slit lamps for eyes stare at you, Feline Queen questions your intentions, this is her night, Night of halloween! written 21/10/2020 not ranked Chantelle Anne Cooke Halloween Meow!
